With such a large system it's hard to know where to start (and where to stop!), so I'll just give you a few of my favourite spots. I normally launch at Bayview Park at the end of Burwood Rd, Concord which let's me start fishing straight away. You can troll the flats of Hen and Chicken Bay and pick up bruiser bream, crocodile-like flatties and real 'elbow-slapper' whiting. My favourite lure to work this bay is the Halco Scorpion in Firefin or Pink.

There are many marinas and boats to work over and a 1/16th Jig head with either a Berkley Gulp 3" Minnow in pumpkinseed or a Berkley Gulp 6" Sandworm in natural (cut in half of course) would be my first two choices. Get your lures right up into the shady pockets as this is where the bream will be lurking. The same applies to the wharves and jetties and the crustier the structure, the better the chance of a bream being home.

The shorelines around Kendall Bay and Bedlam Point can really fire at high tide! A Smak Rack Walker (Black/Silver) cast parallel and close to the shorelines and rockwalls will see it crunched, especially early in the morning. Keep a look out for any drain pipes at the waters edge. These attract fish like magnets!

Between Raven Point and the Westport Marina there is a deep channel running (use your Eagle sounder to find it) and a drift through here while jigging soft plastics or baiting up with peeled prawns or live nippers will see you in with a good chance of hooking a trevally. These are great fighters and when you hook a 50cm specimen you'll really know it. Also try the drift between Searles Monument and Gladesville Bridge.

The Fig Tree Bridge in the Lane Cove River has some good flats that are especially good on a run-out tide. Further up the river you'll also get bass but they can be difficult to locate.

Another good launching area is Five Dock Bay. This bay is also good for trolling and there are plenty of moored boats, too.
